- Matching you with appropriate dental clinics based on your needs
- Reviewing your case to support safe, appropriate matching (using human review and, where applicable, supportive tools)
- Communicating with you through your preferred channel
- Verifying eligibility for referrals (if you are a clinic/provider applying to participate)
- Guiding you on how to verify insurance compatibility (we do not contact your insurer)
- Improving service quality, ethics, safety, and transparency over time
No automated clinical decisions: We do not use automation to make final clinical decisions or provide a diagnosis. When tools are used, they are supportive only and do not replace human judgment.
Legal basis for processing: We process personal information based on your consent, to fulfill your request for services, and where necessary to comply with legal obligations.
How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for marketing or advertising purposes. We only share information when it is necessary to fulfill your request and only in a limited, relevant way.
- With clinics: We may share limited relevant details with a clinic only after you request or consent to a referral/match. We avoid sharing unnecessary information.
- Internal review: Uploaded photos, X-rays, and case details are reviewed only by authorized team members or expert reviewers involved in your request.
- Protected feedback: Patient feedback and internal evaluations are handled confidentially and are not shared with clinics unless you explicitly approve it.
How We Protect Your Data
- We store data using reputable systems and apply appropriate security measures to protect it.
- Access is restricted to authorized personnel and used only for the purpose of your request.
- We do not use your data to run ads, sell leads, or create marketing audiences.
- In the unlikely event of a data breach affecting personal information, we will take appropriate steps to contain the issue and notify affected users where required by law.
Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed to support your request and maintain service integrity. You can request deletion at any time (see “Your Rights” below).
Optional Insurance Information
If you choose to share your insurance provider or plan, this information is used only to guide you in verifying whether clinics may be compatible with your coverage.
LumiQuest does not contact your insurer, confirm eligibility, or make coverage guarantees. You are responsible for verifying plan details with both your insurer and the clinic.
Third-Party Services
We use secure, vetted third-party tools to deliver and improve our services. These may include:
- Hosting and website infrastructure
- Email and WhatsApp communications
- File upload and storage (e.g., Google Drive)
- Analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
These providers process data only to help us operate and improve the service. We do not allow them to use your data for advertising on our behalf.
Some service providers may store or process data outside your country of residence. We apply reasonable safeguards when personal data is transferred internationally.
